Quickview and loupe

Culling fast still means checking the frames that matter. Selekt gives you two ways to look closer without leaving the keyboard.

Press Space on any frame to open Quickview, a fullscreen preview like macOS Quick Look. It sits on a dark backdrop with the filename and cull status at the top.

From Quickview you can keep working:

Key Action
Left / Right (or H / L) Previous / next frame
P M X U Set the cull verdict
I Toggle the EXIF overlay
R Switch between JPG and RAW
Space or Escape Close Quickview

To check critical focus, click the image to enter loupe mode. This shows the photo at a true 100% (one image pixel to one screen pixel), loaded from the original file so nothing is softened by scaling.

  • Drag to pan around the frame.
  • The arrow keys (or H J K L) pan while you are zoomed in, instead of changing frames.
  • Click again or press Escape to exit loupe mode.

Loupe works both in Quickview and in the preview panel next to the grid.
