Your account and plans
All of Selekt's core work happens on your machine and needs no account. You only sign in to unlock the cloud-backed features: AI analysis, smart crop, cloud sync, and client proofing galleries.
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”Open the Account page and choose Sign in. You can continue with Google, Apple, or GitHub, or sign in with email. Signing in stays active across restarts, so you do it once.
Free and Pro
Section titled “Free and Pro”Every account includes the core app for free; upgrading is optional and mostly about how much you get of the cloud features.
- Free - AI analysis up to a monthly quota, and 1 GB of cloud storage.
- Pro - a much larger monthly analysis allowance, and 10 GB of cloud storage, for $8/month.
New accounts may start on a short trial of the paid features.
Usage and storage
Section titled “Usage and storage”The account page shows two meters:
- Image analysis - how much of this month's AI analysis quota you have used. Paid plans show this as a share of a much larger allowance. If a paid plan runs low, you can top up for the rest of the month.
- Cloud storage - how much of your plan's storage is in use.
Use Manage account to update your profile, and Upgrade to Pro or Manage subscription for billing.
- AI analysis - what the analysis quota covers.
- Cloud sync - what fills your storage.
- Settings - the rest of the app's options.
