Grid and list views
Selekt shows your library two ways, and both stay smooth at 50,000+ photos. Switch between them with the Grid view and List view buttons in the header.
Grid view
Section titled “Grid view”The default. A responsive thumbnail grid with a small cull-status corner badge on each frame. Use the size control in the header to make thumbnails smaller or larger. Select a frame to open the preview panel beside the grid.
List view
Section titled “List view”A compact table, one row per photo, with columns for a thumbnail, Filename, Date, Status, and Shoots (how many shoots the photo belongs to). Double-click a row to open the detail view.
Sorting
Section titled “Sorting”Open the Sort menu in the header:
| Sort | Order |
|---|---|
| Newest first | Capture date, newest to oldest |
| Oldest first | Capture date, oldest to newest |
| Filename | Alphabetical by filename |
| Score high to low | Best quality score first |
| Score low to high | Worst quality score first |
The score sorts use Selekt's automatic quality scoring (see AI analysis and the score settings in Settings).
Filtering
Section titled “Filtering”Two filters live in the header:
- Date - quick presets (Today, Last 7 days, This month, and so on) or a custom calendar range.
- Score - Any, Fair and up, Good and up, or Excellent. Turn on Show scores to see each photo's score.
The cull-status filters live in the sidebar, as chips with live counts:
| Filter | Shows |
|---|---|
| All images | Everything |
| Pick / Maybe / Reject / Unflagged | Just that verdict |
| Not in a shoot | Photos not yet added to any shoot |
- Cull with the keyboard - set those verdicts fast.
- Shoots and scenes - group your keepers.
